Sleepy head

Thought I'd try something a little different (woah! Innovation!) and shoot inside. Me in my natural environment, you know? It was... difficult. My room is a total cluttered mess, I could barely move the tripod without knocking something over, but I managed to find a nice-ish spot in front of my poster-laden wardrobe doors. I think it looks okay?

Anyway, OH MY GOD SHOES. I love these shoes. Like, really love. I think I could start a committed relationship with these shoes. Okay, getting weird - point is, they're nice shoes. They're super comfortable and make me feel like I'm wearing tiny foot monsters that could possibly terrorise a 1950s Japanese city a la Godzilla. Or something.

Bad romance

Honey, I'm home! Southbound was amazing, you guys, GOSH, amazing. For more deets and some sweet photos visit my tumblr.

Wearing some old school bling today - I won this zebra ring at a birthday party YEARS ago and have barely worn it since. And I've finally figured out how to get this vintage man's ring (it was made for a man after all) to stay on my finger! Just pop on a couple of little silver rings on either side. Easy. And finally, I never ever get tired of my lil' button rings. A nice combination, wouldn't you agree?

And also, yes, I'm wearing two belts. I'm not convinced it works but it reminds me of that Friends episode David Thewlis was on where he drunkenly exclaimed, 'I'm wearing two belts!' (Bummed I can't find a youtube clip of it because I'm positive no one will have a clue what I'm on about. If you do however I'll be your best friend forever.)

Same Jeans

Oh, lazy day. I almost forgot what you looked like for a moment. Here's some stuff that's happened: I've watched Sherlock Holmes, Wild Child and Enchanted (GREAT combination, right?), I've worked, I played guitar hero for the first time and discovered I'm actually quite good at it (who knew?), I've dealt with problems rationally (I'm growing up!) and I've been preparing for Southbound (ahh! Excitement!) but more on that tomorrow, sneaky wink.

I like this outfit; it's slouchy, comfortable, good for lazying around. And this top, mmm - gotta learn how to tie dye. It's easy, right? And how cute are these rings? They used to be buttons. They are literally cute as a button.

...my badge collection! I just couldn't resist sharing it with you. And to spend the afternoon having a delightful little photo shoot, of course.

Most of these are actually gifts from people - apparently it didn't take long for word to get out about my slight badge obsession. Hey, no complaints here! My favourite one is the Robin one; I always feel a little braver with him on my side.

Single ladies (woah oh oh)

My first outfit of 2010! And what a year it's been so far. I spent last night at a mate's place (way better than a club, in my opinion) with my wonderful wonderful friends and we danced, drank, hugged, cheered and had a pretty downright awesome time. A great start to what I have decided is going to be a GREAT year. Got it? Good.

I bought this top a couple days ago in the sales and I LOVE it. Seriously, I don't think these photos do it justice. And is it just me, or am I totally channelling Clarissa Darling here?

And the badges - OH the badges. I totally need to do a post purely about my badge collection; it's my pride and joy and it's amazing. Stay tuned.

How was everyone's new years eve/ first day of 2010? Smashing, I hope!
