grace + scarper: gold

How about it! Time again to share my love for all things Grace + Scarper. One of my favourite Perth labels, both to wear and to work with. I'm a big fan of the way designer Lisa Jefferson takes this feminine simplicity and gives it an edge, creating pieces that work equally as well by themselves or piled on top of each other. Since I've been gradually adding more gold to my life this year (gradually? Did I not have my body spray painted gold for a Goldfinger-themed routine at work a couple weeks ago? Can't really say something like that without a 'photo to come later'!) I've opted for a pair of shiny, warm-hued rings. Got my hands feeling ever so regal.

You can check out the online shop here (with some photos taken by yours truly) or a list of stockists here.

grace + scarper II

Y'all know by now just how much I love Grace + Scarper. Not only because it's never short of a pleasure working with the label - but because designer Lisa Jefferson creates truly beautiful and original pieces. So naturally I am WAY stoked to have a few more delights to add to my collection. The fine and colourful bracelets in particular are a current obsession - I've a feeling these will be living on my wrists all summer.

Also - perfect christmas present for someone special if you're struggling for ideas! Check out the website for more products and info on stockists.

You can see the video I made for Grace + Scarper here and some older photos here.

pff: wa designers / ange lang

And to round off my personal faves from the WA Designers show, the ever elegant Ange Lang. It was all a bit vampy and noir-ish and I couldn't get enough. It makes me want to spend my nights at glamorous balls, drinking champagne and concocting an evil plan or two.

I am expecting to spend many upcoming warm spring and summer (and autumn and probably winter too because, like, Australia) days at picnics because nothing goes together quite like good weather, good food and good company. And how convenient! On a Whim's collection at the WA Designer show has provided me with all the picnicking outfits I could possibly need! Just look at all this adorable. I want to make those two purple dresses my Official Picnic Uniform.

pff: wa designers / monster alphabets

My two favourite looks from Monster Alphabet's collection at the WA Designers show. So simple and elegant. That long striped skirt with the petite black button-up is exactly the sort of thing I could slip into any day of the week. Much love.

Oh - you opened your show with an explosion of pink and continued with block colours, including head-to-toe orange and the most glorious burgundy dress? Oh - I LOVE YOU. Anna Excell, I am a fan.

pff: wa designers / little gracie

As soon as Big Girls Don't Cry began to play and a dashing young man strolled out clutching a bunch of balloons I knew we were in for a treat with the darling of WA fashion, Little Gracie. Playful and feminine dresses in the sweetest of colours, bobby socks with heels (!!!), corsage-adorned wrists - it was all golden. And you can probably tell which dress was my favourite since I included three photos of it - some serious pining happening over here. These are dresses that demand fun to be had in them, man. You enchanting thing, Little Gracie, you.
